Experience Kitley

Kitley House has been a premier South Devon wedding venue for over 10 years and always seeks to treat each couple with individuality as they take on the most important day of their lives. To this end we are always looking at ways of improving our venue and the experience of our guests.

To this end we have recently launched an inclusive wedding package specifically for your winter events. In addition our New Wedding Island and Gazebo is up and operational so do come and have a look!

We are always looking for improvement so if if you have any specific needs not covered here do ask!

Kitley in the Spring

The time of daffodills and green shoots as the Kitley Estate comes to life. There are at least 13 different varieties of daffodills that usually start showing from February through April - once they go the bluebells and cherry blossom makes its appearance and colour returns to the countryside. The swans and geese breeding season is always a challenge as each seek to protect their new offspring.

Kitley in the Summer

Time to roam as the estate shows off its incredible range of trees shrubs and wildlife. One of the driest parts of the South West we are blessed with low levels of rainfall throughout the summer and a warm temperature that can be tempered by the closeness of the sea (oops...)

Kitley in the Autumn

September sees the start of the Autumn as the leaves adopt a range of colours and the temperature remains warm. It is the time for relighting the log fires that provide the traditional country house atmosphere. The gardens are accessible throughout the year with paths down to the lake and River Yealm esuary.
