This Luxury Historic Country House Wedding Venue is set in 600 acres of pasture and woodland in South Devon and close to the maritime City of Plymouth. It overlooks a Trout Lake with easy access to the sea. The approach to the house is down a mile long tree lined drive with pasture and woodland on either side. Kitley House does pride itself on its tailor made cuisine wedding receptions and can accommodate upto 120 guests within the house and provide marquee hospitality in formal gardens for guests of up 200.

Fireworks and Chinese Lanterns Update - Great News and Not So Great News!
Following discussions with the owners of Kitley Estate it has been agreed Fireworks will be allowed once a weekend at most (on a first come first served basis!). There are specific requirements which must be met from a Health & Safety aspect and a good neighbour policy but this is a major change in operation which I am sure will be of benefit to our wedding guests. As part of the arrangement we are now unable to accept Chinese Lanterns during weddings. These have caused significant damage to farm equipment and have spooked both sheep and horses which surround the house. In addition they are considered a fire hazard in this rural area.
